Culinary Tour of Mexico Tonight and Food Week at UTSA

You’re invited! Tonight, Monday, Oct. 22nd, join UTSA Libraries, UTSA Rec Center and the Hispanic Student Association for our first 2012-2013 Culinary Tour of Mexico cooking demonstration from 5:30-6:30pm. We will be preparing Enchiladas al estilo de Guadalajara from Los 30 Menus Del Mes (1918) by Alejandro Pardo – corn enchiladas filled with shredded pork and topped with creamy tomatillo salsa.

Cooking Demonstrations are open to all UTSA students, faculty and staff. No RSVP required … just show up hungry and ready to cook!

You’re invited! Food Day will be celebrated nationally on Wednesday, Oct. 24th. Food Day has been organized to raise awareness of issues relating to obesity, supporting sustainable farming, and making real food available to everyone, as well as to push for healthy, affordable food produced in a sustainable, humane way.

Food-related events will be happening all week on campus and around town. See a complete schedule at https://libguides.utsa.edu/foodday or read more about national Food Day Events at https://www.foodday.org.
